Cut out the pattern, leaving a "seam allowance" (space outside the pattern)
Place the pattern on the material and trace the pattern. REMEMBER-- Monsters aren't perfect!
Here's a variation. The more limbs, the more time and care it takes to sew!
Here are some examples of some more elaborate, larger designs-- Be creative, but pleease keep them smaller than 8 1/2 x 11 or so.
Turn in right side out and it's ready to stuff and decorate!

You'll need to leave 3 inches or so in order to have space to stuff the monster with stuffing.

Time to SEW! (backstitch around the opening to help keep if from opening up.
Pin together the material (again, good side in). Here's what we mean by a seam allowance.
